Bought for €300, this 2003 model had a few problems: stored in a garage for two years, it wouldn’t start. A new battery, an oil change, a new air filter, a good carb cleaning and the replacement of the starter relay and here I am, the owner of a nice little 125.

Yellow number plate, big indicators and oversized tail light… It’s just not tenable anymore! Its original ugly color and retro look didn’t really appeal to me. It needed a facelift and a bobber-style makeover.

Complete disassembly, cleaning, sanding and painting in matt black.

I replaced the original turn signals, which were too big, with small LED “teardrop” type models. I changed both front and rear tires, front brake pads and rear drum linings. A few hours spent in the workshop during the winter for a result that I think is not bad, for a total cost of €500.

The rear light is now offset to the left above the license plate. To do this, I had to build a sufficiently sturdy steel support that also includes the LED license plate light. Cutting out the rear mudguard to give it a more aggressive look.
